I just turned 32 years old and have been struggling with my weight for most of my life. When I was younger, I was overweight by like 20 or 30 pounds. I would say in the last 10 years I have gained over 100 pounds. I have tried every diet, pill, or program out there and nothing had worked. I would lose some, but gain it back plus more. I heard about the surgery over two years ago and thought about doing it. A was scared, didn't know much about it, and heard it was a very long process. It wasn't until last year when my friend Twags told me she had the surgery and how great it worked for her. She looks fabulous! Twags helped me with my application process, getting into seeing the surgeon, et... and made me realize that yes it was a long process, but not as bad as I heard before. With her continued support and the great people at Buffalo General, I am now excited to say, I will be having my surgery Jan 14, 2008. I hope that I will look as Fabulous as my Good Friend Twags!!
