Today is such an awesomely beautiful day. I have my surgery at 5 pm. I am so exctied. Yes I said excited...not nervous. 

I have dreamed of this day for several years. And now one of my dreams are coming true.  I hope that I can always remember how great it felt to wake up today and know that I will be on a wonderful journey to health and to be around alot longer to be in my kids lives. Knowing I wil be having a few rough days a head  but I know with the support of my family and the wonderful support of the OH community I will get through them in good spirits.

I just want to thank everyone that has been supportive of me and that have been on this journey and shared there ups and downs.

Guess the saying " Today is the beginning of the rest of my life"  had this day pegged.

I think January is never going to come. I keep hoping that time will go faster. I am so ready to get my WLS and start towards the losers bench.

I guess that is an excellent time to get things organized for when I come home and start taking care of getting supplies built up. I hope that with all of this I can learn some patience for once in my life.

Hmmmmm....time to go back to work.

Ok after a long week of waiting. I got my call on Monday 12/15/08. I am scheduled for surgery on 01/22/09.  I am so freaking excited. I can not wait....boy does 30 days sound so far away. I guess now it prep time.  I am really ready to reflect and make note of how and why I have gotten these habits.

I have a preop  visit with Dr. Dunshee on 01/13/09 at 1:30 and at the hospital at 3:00 pm.  I am so excited ..

Well today when I checked my email.....found out my pre approval letter has been faxed to the insurance company.  I am so excited ....but the anticipation is just killing me. They said they usually have an answer within about 14 days.  OMG...this could be the longest 14 days of my life.

I am just praying minute by minute to let this go by fast and for God help me to be patient.

Well this morning I woke up to a call from the nurse at Tall Grass. I am set up for my consultation on the 20TH. I am so excited and nervous. I am hoping to get my pshyc eval done and have it in hand when I walk in the office next week.

Ideally I would love to have surgery after Christmas or right after the first of the year.
