TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL A roomy bath robe Slip on slippers so you won't need to bend over to put on Small fan Loose fitting clothes or dress to wear home nothing binding around the stomach (can be the same thing you arrive in) Maxipads (some women start their period after abdominal surgery) Chapstick Hairbrush, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Lotion, Shampoo Baby wipes for bathroom Tongs (for helping to clean the 'ol hiney you won't be able to reach very well) Antibacterial hand gel CD player for relaxation and to block out noise

I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery!!! I'm sure you are doing a happy dance accompanied by some "NERVES"!!! Don't worry be happy, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon!!!

Christine, Iam so glad you are going to get your surgery, I still have not seen the surgeon. I am also new to this sight and it is very comforting. Good Luck, I am very happy for you.
