Below is a full figure photo of me from July 2008 The dress is beautiful, but this is when I really decided that I wanted to further explore the weight loss surgery after considering it and researching it for almost 3 1/2 years. Lindy and I went to our first few seminars late 2006 and she was approved and had her surgery in January of 2007. I was really disappointed and wish it would have been me considering I was the one who signed us up to even go to the meetings, she was coming along with me to find out more about it. However, she had the resources/insurance and courage to go ahead and do it. So I guess you could say she was the guinea pig for us since we are twins, I'm sure the results are going to be similiar since our body styles are the same.
I will try and get a more current photo up and will definitely take one the day I get approved for the surgery. However, I've been overweight by approximately 100 lbs for over 8 years at least. I didn't notice the significant weight gain until after I turned 30 and went back to college and worked four different part time jobs to survive and be able to afford to go to school. I had not time to exercise and the hectic schedule I had left me with little time to eat so it was on the go/fast food most of the time.
