Hi everyone! I am very pleased to say I am 4 months out and about 57 pounds lost!! I have been blessed by the Lord! I have had NO complications or experiences of dumping or anything getting stuck!! I can exercise with ease and all my blod work came back HEALTHY!! My cholesterol went from 260 before surgery to 177 3 months after surgery!!  I am so happy! Please share all your stories with me! :) :)

Well I had my 2 week post op appointment today and I'm down 17 pounds!!  I cant believe how good I'm doing! I havent had any problems :) I start my pureed diet tomorrow and I'm looking forward to the Tuna!! :) It will make it so much easier to get in my protein! I can finally sleep on my side too! It makes for such a nice night of sleep when you can get off your back! Other than that I started walking a mile each day and thats going really good! Its nice to walk at a quick pace and not start breathing hard!! :) I am so happy that I decided to have the surgery. There are so many positive things going on! My blood pressure is already back to normal! I can just imagine how good I'm going to feel by the end of the year!! Life is awesome! :)

Hi everyone!! Well its totally official. I'm a loser now :) hehe Who would have ever thought I'd be this happy about it huh? :) Well I want to let everyone know I am doing great! Still a bit sore, but thats it!! I want to send a special THANK YOU to my 2 angels Diane B. and RSPeters, who both took time out of their day to come and visit me in the hospital. That just goes to show what wonderful people there are on OH.com I cant wait until I can be an angel for some one else.  Now that I'm 4 days post op I've taken myself off the pain meds, have no problem keeping my liquids and broths down. I'm moving around great and even showered the past 2 days.  The doctor said I'm doing amazing and now I just cant wait to start exercising! I cant believe I just said that, but I'm so motivated by this. Thank you to everyone and I hope to talk to you all soon!!

Holy Crap!! Is this really true?? I can not believe I am less than 2 days away from surgery!  I just got doen carving pumpkins with my daughter and we had a blast!! I have my last meal and I'm totally full!!  In a little bit I'm going to take all of my measurements and then post them here. I plan on taking good notes on this journey. I'm so excited and I want to thank each and every ONE of you on here for your support.  I would like to send out a special THANK YOU to Rachel, you truly have helped inspire me and I hope to follow in your foot steps!!! :)

Oh my godness, I can hardly believe that I am really only one week away from my surgery date!! I'm feeling so many things right now. Mostly just excitement though. I've been on this road since January and other than finding patience inside myself I think the hardest part was waiting to here from the insurance company!! That took about 8 weeks, but well worth the wait! :)  I do find myself looking over all the foods, drinks and supplements I've bought. I know they are the right ones, but I keep going over them. LOL  I'm going to start a scrap book of my journey. I am also going to take all my measurements and weight and update them on either a weekly or biweekly basis.
