ALMOST 2 WEEKS OUT (WED)

We'll My surgery was a success.... thanks to god, friends,family... i was in surgery for 2 1/2 hrs then i went to recovery for another 1hr.. i was then put in my room and wasn't allowed anything til the next morning if i passed my upper gi test to make sure there were no leaks.. So around 8am the nurse and Dr. came to my room to get me and took me for the test.. and the stuff that you gotta drink ewww yuck and that was the first thing that i've had since surgery... but i held it together and got threw the test.. After the test i went back to my room and waited for the results.. about 15 -20 min pass and my nurse enters and said you passed now u can start to drink... (YES FINALLY) so i started with water 30 cc's over 1hr. then i had to do 60cc's every 1hr.. i did that with no problem.. So then my nurse comes in and tells me that i can have popsicle's and chicken broth from the cafeteria so i ordered the pops.. and broth and i was also fine with that until the next night i ordered a pops.. and i was sitting there eating it i took about 2 bites and i got instantly sick not vomiting but chest pain stomach pain really bad and shortness of breath so i called in my nurse and told her what was going on and come to find out the pops.. that they sent me wasn't SUGARFREE.... there was 16grms of sugar in it.. so that's what caused it... other than that the next day i came home and ive been great ever since.. ty for reading and feel free to ask any questions")")

Hey all i am going in for gastric bypass on December 7th 2011. I am seriously scared to death so i was wondering if anyone could help me out that has already had this procedure im having my procedure done in Pittsburgh, P.A.
