My name is Cheryl. I had my surgery a year ago in Pensacola, FL and moved to Charlotte, NC a few months later. That makes follow up care kind of hard. I lost 60 lbs my first year and am happy with that. Because the lap band is not permanent like gastric bypass, I think it definitely takes time to get the right amount of restriction and get it at the right place. I hope to continue to do well on my journey.
