I had WLS on 12/06/04 in Colorado Springs. I have lost 120 pounds. I've had my issues with dehydration, infections, ulcers, transfusions, and hernia surg. After all this I would do it again in a flash. I had my operations at Penrose St Francis in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At the time they were remodeling so it was not the best situation. Since completion of the remodeling they have there own WLS floor and its great.
Background: I was divorced after 17 years in 2000 and before WLS in 03. Being fat was not the main reason I got divorced. It was her commentment issues. I have 3 daughters and a son from my first marriage who I love very much. I remarried a few years after that to my wife LISA. She loves me FAT or SKINNY. My wife Lisa has 3 daughters from her previous marriage.
This picture I was showing off. I "broke" my leg the next weekend dirt biking in the Colorado Mountains. Maybe I've been acting like a kid in some ways. I have all this time to make up. My summer SUCKED after June 11th. I had several cast over a 5 month period. As of this writing I am cast free and walk with a slight limp.
I am at Rehobeth Beach, Delaware at my wife's family reunion. This was just 10 days after I broke my leg. (SUMMER 2006) I was on pain pills and it really was not that much fun. I am looking all old and wasted.
