"He is very calm, professional and has a gentle spirit. He is thorough in his explanation of the surgery, it's benefits and the possible complications. I left the office excited and hopeful for my future. My experience with Sonia in the office was disappointing prior to surgery. It felt like she dropped the ball several times. I do realize it was a hectic period for the office staff as they moved from Manteca to Modesto during this time period. However, after surgery, she was much more helpful. She proved to be a great help in the first three months post-op time when I had some problems with malabsortion of vitamins B1 and B12 and dehydration. I came to appreciate her competence and helpfulness. I came home from the hospital yesterday after having the lap RNY surgery. I have great confidence in Dr. Coirin. He emphsizes a life-long commitment to after-care. I believe Dr. Coirin has the best reputation for bariatric surgery in our Central Valley of California. Dr. Coirin has a kind warm manner. I appreciated that he didn't speak down to me and took the time to carefully answer my questions. He emphasizes the important of life long commitment to healthy life choices. They have a thorough aftercare program. "
