"Dr. Lord is a very confident and competent surgeon. He is very matter of fact and tells it like it is. His bedside manner has a little to be desired, however, he more than makes up for it in the operating room. I am very glad that I chose him as my surgeon. His staff was very helpful and made all the pre-surgery paperwork very simple, i.e., insurance approval, etc. They have a structured aftercare program as well as monthly support group meetings. Also, their pre-op teaching is very good. I would highly recommend Dr. Lord for anyone thinking about RNY."
