"The first time I met Dr. pesta I was impressed. He was easy to talk to, non-judgemental, sympathetic, and he really showed he cared.
I could have easily chose a surgeon that was closer to my home, but after meeting Dr. Pesta, there was no doubt in my mind who I wanted for my surgeon and I was willing to drive 5 and 1/2 hours each way to get him.
In fact, the entire Bariatric Center at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI was incredible. Sally Green and L'Nora were so helpful with any questions and concerns I had and helped me through the process as if they were old friends.
I had my surgery Sept. 2, 2009 and in 3 months, I am down just over 100 lbs and feel great. Dr. Pesta checked in on me several times during my 2 days in the hospital and I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor. He truly does care about his patients and even gives you his personal cell and pager numbers if you ever have ANY questions, he's there for you. His staff are very friendly and really go to bat for you.
I would easliy recommend Dr. Pesta to anyone looking for a compassionate great surgeon, and the Bariatric Team at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Warren, MI. I cannot say enough how greatful I am for the work they did to change.....to save my life, because until my surgery, I wasn't living, just existing. Thanks again, Dr. Pesta!"
