Milton Owens

"Dr. Owens was very supportive when one insurance recommended another provider and one insurance approved the surgery. When I visited him in May 2007, he was very realistic about what I could achieve and what I could expect. The second time I went in, it seemed like it was a waste of time because we reviewed the new lab results and talked about new meds and resubmitted the paperwork. I guess thats because I am so anxious. LOL. I would rate him as an 9 for professionalism. Dr. Owens gave me his card to call if we had any questions at home. His office staff would get a 8, only because things were not submitted in a timely manner. Carmen is the go to woman. She took care of everything. I was very educated about numerous procedures and chose the RNY. A binder was provided with materials for me to look over in addition to making a list of questions and calling for anymore information. I know about the dangers and side effects. I know I want to be here for the duration to watch my children develop into adults. "

Chapman Medical Center (COE)

"The only reason they were rated average for pain medication was becasue they seemed so busy with new admissions. It allowed me to breath through the pain until the medication did arrive. The nurse case manager was very helpful and even administered my pain meds when my nurse was not available. "
