Jonathan Mandelbaum
"My first impression of him was that he was an attractive, confident doctor. I was told, at the WLC that he was great to work with. I've never had contact with his other office staff, but the gals at St Francis Medical & Surgical Weight Loss Center are fabulous! The only disappointment in Dr. Jon was that he thought he'd do the open surgery on me. He since certified with the Bariatric Board to do the laparoscopic surgery (which he's done for years as a regular surgeon)and was able to do it on me. So he IS sensative to your desires and would have done open, if it would have been the only safe way, but is also flexible. The WLC has a terrific comprehensive program of proper medical preparation for surgery and aftercare. Dr. Jon covered everything, and answered all questions asked during his initial presentation. He was very thorough. Overall, I would rate him as excellent. He IS great to work with. His brother (Dr. David Mandelbaum) visited me Sat. and released me Sun., and he is every bit as competent and personable as Dr. Jon. "

"I couldn't say one bad thing about all of the great folks who gave me care. Only one aide gave me a straw with my protein shake, but I mentioned it to another aide, so she could be reminded not to do that. Everyone was very caring and helpful."
