This is my first post since Open RNY Tuesday, September 9. Surgery went just fine -- he also repaired a hernia and removed my gall bladder. I ended up staying in hospital an extra day (until Saturday) because my bladder shut down due to side effects from a muscle relaxer for my back. They sent me home with oxygen and a visiting nurse until I get my numbers up. I'm getting better every day and sick to death of this clear liquid diet. Jolene Darby, my angel, and my DH were both wonderful to have on my side. Thank you both so much.

Hi to all my AMOS Siblings for the last time today, I hope. I spoke with Dawnetta,this morning, she is still in the hospital and will have to go home on o2, but she is feeling good and I think she will be home soon. Hope y'all aren't tired of me yet??? BIGGHUGGZZZZ

To all my AMOS Siblings, Angel coming in for a landing, THUDDDDD!! My sweet Angelette, Dawnetta, came through surgery with FLYING COLORS!! Also had gall-bladder removed and a hernia repair and when they said she was already in her room I was AMAZED! Hubby Larry answered the phone and when he said "Do you want to speak with her?" I thought maybe he was kidding! Not so, she reports she is in pain as we all understand but she has no NG tube, no catheter, no oxygen, and though she hasn't been up yet she was laughing and feeling good! WHAT A TROOPER!! I will speak to her again on Thursday and will update then. Jolene
