I've missed ya'll.  My tower has been really sick and has finally gotten rid of it's cold.  Alot has happened in the last 6 months.  I am a Grandma for the 3rd time!  (Grandson # 3 was born the same day, only 2 yrs later than Grandson # 2, LOL)  I went to Tx. to help my daughter when Baby Michael was born, Nov. 7 2008.  l was there for two weeks.  l am happy to report that l still lost weight while there.  l have lost a total of 40 lbs since June 9th of 08 (would have been 50, but l gained 10 lbs over the holidays and was having a stress problem).  Stress problem gone and l know what l did was wrong.  So now l work a bit harder to lose the extra weight and get back where l should be.
After the lap band surgery l started loosing weight fast.  About 3 month into post op l had 8 boxes of size 3x clothes. (We have a freecycle. yahoo group here that l use to get rid of what ever needs a new home.  l also have used it to get smaller clothing, too.)   At this time l have given away 17 boxes of size 3x to 2x clothes.  l am now wearing size 18 20 pants and 1x to 18 size tops.
Now that the weather is finally nicer. l am having my bike maintained so l can start riding it again, and am walking more.  l am exercising with weights so that l can help tone up my arms, legs and stomach.
