"I had my first appointment with Dr. Fischer in August,after I went to the seminar at Good Samaritan Hospital. I sat and spoke with her for about 1 hour. She is great!!!! She did not rush any time during the interview and had such a great outlook on the future sucess of my surgery. She is teamed up with 2 other Bariatric Doctors at Good Sam and she is by far the leader in this field. She made me go to pre op support groups at the Hospital and she has a strict regiment of dieting 2 weeks before surgery.The only problem I can see is the ofice she is currently in has a number of surgeons there and she shares the office staff with them. The office staff is not really "seasoned" in getting pre cert for surgery. I had to call them alot and because of a few "problems" getting back to Aetna and not knowing exactly what they are looking for, I got denied for surgery the first time. But all in all she is a 100 for her care and compasion."
