So many good things are happening. 

1.  Can Cross my legs comfortably.
2.  Going up and down stairs easy.
3.  Smaller clothes.  2 sizes to be exact and almost 3.
4.  No pain in joints.
5.  Just plain feel good.

To those of you thinking about doing this - go for it.  It does make a difference in your life.  Food does not have control over me. 

It's been 5 weeks since surgery and thank God, I'm feeling better.  I'm down 30 pounds from my pre-op weight and down 26 pounds from surgery.  That would equal to about 5 pounds per week.  Not bad since I stalled for almost 2 weeks.  The pain is finally gone and I feel so much better.  No problems eating and I've gotten my energy back.  I eat what I want in moderation, however I know that I need to watch my habits. I do not want to fall into the pattern I was in before.  Now is my chance to get this weight off and keep it off.  

Well, I've been approved for surgery!!!  I started the process in September and will have my surgery the end of January.  There were some road blocks, but not many.  I'm scared but it's to important to me to stop now.  The support groups are great and especially Nash Surgical Weight Loss Center.  Shannon and the entire group is helpful and resourceful.  BCBS approved me in less than a week.  I had heard they were quick.

Things can turn around really fast when you least expect it.  I was told last Friday that I could not have the surgery because of another health reason and the PA calls back today and says it's a go.  WOW!!!!

Now I have to get a few appointments rescheduled and start coordinating again.  YEAH!!!!!

YEAH!!!  Got all of my appointments scheduled in October.  Hoping to have surgery before Christmas, but that would be if everything goes perfectly.  If things go well, then it's meant to be. 

Got my appointment schedules today.  Now if I can get them all scheduled in October that would be great.  My Cardiology is for Nov. 26. Let's hope I can get one sooner.
