I just got back from visiting Debi! She looks GREAT! They did have to convert her lap procedure to an open but she's not stressing over it. She's already been up walking a few times and best of all, she has an AWESOME attitude and is excited to start her post op life!!!

Just talked to Debi's sister. She came through surgery just fine. They did have to change to an open procedure instead of lap, but she is doing well and her sister said she was sitting up in a chair in ICU which means she's MOBILE! We all know how important that is!! I hope to go visit her tomorrow so I'll update again then. Welcome to the other side Debi!!

Debi had her surgery yesterday, I just called the hospital and they said she was still in ICU. She did mention that she would be there the first day or so, so I'm hoping this just means they are waiting for a regular room to open up for her! Her sister was supposed to give me a call but I haven't heard anything yet. I'll update again when I have some more news...in the meantime, please keep Debi in your thoughts for a quick recovery!
