Hello, and Welcome to my Story!

I had been overweight for most of my adult life, but not obese until after I had a 

series of steroid injections.  I gained 100lbs in one month after my steroid injections, 

and when my husband was deployed overseas, I saw a show on Gastric Bypass on Lifetime

and decided this is the answer.  I had almost died from the steroid overdose and faught back

and lived, and now had a huge amount of weight to contend with as well as diabetes and 

sleep apnea and a host of other things.  Gastric Bypass has changed my life for the better 

in so many ways!!  

Even though I am facing a surgery for an intestinal blockage, and an enlarged bile duct, 

I am happy with my results and look forward to the rest of my life living in a normal body.
