Plastic Surgery
Mar 11, 2011
OK, so it's been three years and I've been able to keep off most of my weight. I had a little weight gain and kicked myself in the butt and got back to the gym to take it off. Now I'm ready for that tummy tuck that my Dr. has been talking about for the last year and a half. I'm at 153lbs. and can't seem to get over that no matter how hard I try. I have about a month unttil they do the surgery and I'm bound and determined to break that 150 mark. It doesn't seem like much but it's a real milestone for me. I'll undate everyone on the results of the surgery in April after it's done.

It's been a while since I posted. Things are going very well. I have very little difficulty eating just about anything that I want except sugar and fried foods. I don't even try them of course, but I do know what would happen if I even attempted them. Pre-op and post-op I 've lost over 100 lbs and have at least another 30 to go before reaching my goal. I'd like to be a size 8, so whatever weight I end up at where I can wear an 8 will make me happy. I work out regularly at a gym and I'm hoping to get rid of those wings that you have under the upper arms as you loose weight. They are the one thing that bothers me right now.
Six Weeks out
Jul 10, 2008
Well, I'm six weeks out of surgery and feeling great. I had some patches there where I didn't feel well, usually because I ate too fast or tried to eat too much and on occassion I tried to eat something that I just knew I shouldn't yet. But I'm over all that, I'm a smart girl and catch on quickly. I've found that I don't tolerate tuna, but I'll try it again in a few months, other than that I haven't had any problems with the foods suggested by my Dr. I lost approx. 45 lbs before surgery and in the six weeks since I've lost another 30. I feel great and I've even been out to dinner on a couple of occassions with quite a bit of success. I was warned about microwaving my proteins, but have found that that's not a problem for me. I tolerate microwaved foods very well with no repercussions. I now know why the Dr. said don't drink with your food...there was a few occassions where I got that stuck feeling in my chest and it was natural to try and "Wash it down", what a mistake. That usually results in me vomiting, so if you read this remember! Not a very nice feeling at all! I'll let you know in a few weeks how I'm doing.
