"My appointment went very well. Right when I walked up to the receptionist in the waiting room they told me he was running about 1/2 hour late, which I appreciated them telling me. His nurse spent a lot of time with me, telling me about what they do, what they're all about. He's a no-nonsense kind of guy, but when he smiles, his whole face lights up. I liked him immediately. We talked a long time about the procedure, why I'm a candidate, what to expect. I never felt rushed by him in the least when I knew he was running behind. He yawned once and apologized and said he'd been on-call most of the night. So, as far as first impressions, I felt very comfortable with him. He told me his experience as a surgeon. He told me complications he's run into with the surgery and things that "could" happen. He didn't sugar-coat anything.
