I had sugery on Friday, April 17. I ended up staying over night due to a few issues discovered after the procedure had started. I had a hiatle hernia (I had no idea that I even had that problem) and I had many abrasions from a previous accident that posed their own difficulties. I stayed overnight at Memorial Hospital in Jakcsonville where everone was very nice!
The first night home was a bit hard because my left side feels very swollen. Almost like you have overworked your stomach muscles and they have to stretch back out. I found that as I get up an move that it doesn't feel so tight. Hopefully, the healing will proceed quickly because I am a big baby when it comes to pain!
