"I have read the other reviews about MCE and although I was concerned, I have discovered that every case is different, every person is different in how they react to pain and their surroundings. I can't speak from anyone experience, but my own. I have had three surgeries in the past 12 months at MCE. At no time have I ever had any problems regarding medications, staff, and food. When I received my first food tray after this WLS, I realized how fortunate I was that there was so much food as I had a choice over what I wanted or could tolerate. I was educated in pre-op nutrition class about how much to eat. It was never an issue that I had to eat everything on the tray, but just try what you feel like tolerating. As far as walking, I always did that one on my own too. We have to go into this surgery prepared to take responsiblity for what we do. This is our journey."
