Every muscle in my body hurts today......

So as of this past week I've been cleared for exercise.....so i started at Dr. C's gym since we get a free month.   Holy cow....boy, they sure know how to work you huh?   I can only get there mon/tue/sat......because of my work and my daughter's daycare schedule.....but the rest of the week I've been doing one of those at home walking videos.   Hopefully this will help me end loose more weight... I've been stuck at the same weight for about 8 days now.  

but today I worked extra hard at Dr. C's gym.....since I hadn't been there since Tuesday.....   and boy, i feel it tonight!   its good though...a good hurt because its sooooo nice to know that this excercise WILL actually help me.   Not like when you go 5 days a week and loose NOTHING for years and years...    But those days are GONE forever.......

I'm thinking about joining Curves here in lancaster... anybody go to one?  Its really the only place close enough that I can get there after work and still get to my daughter before daycare closes....  And since I have the flexfit debit card anyway...i might as well use it.   A bunch of girls from work go and they love it.    Any thoughts???

Tomorrow we're going sledding at Como Park....assuming its not 5 degrees outside.   Pulling a 30 lb kid up the hill a few times....that ought to be excercise! 

Ok, i'm off to watch Miss America.....   Senseless Tv....gotta love Sat night.

So today I turned 31....and it was a glorious day!  I got a beautiful bracelet (that fits nicely ) from my husband, a new toaster oven from my daughter, and a new electric razor from them both.   AND>>>>I got to sleep in.....AND>>>>>I purchased 4 new bra's that fit my quickly shrinking cleavage!!!   Its nice to see them so high on my chest again... its all good though....shrink away....cause as of this evening I have lost 41 lbs!!!!   I am on cloud nine!!!!   I'm sooooo happy I could do cartwheels right now!!!  

Tuesday is my 6 week check up with Dr. C.  I assume I'll be cleared for exercise at that point too.  I need to be adding some songs to my MP3 player this week so I can be walk walk walking away the pounds!!!  whooohoooo!

Well, tonight i angered my new tummy badly.....and it sent the food back up.  I ate half a protein bar...which was fine.... problem was i took a huge drink of water afterwards....and as soon as a swallowed i knew i messed up.   OUCHYYYY  Very painful.....and it sat there like a tennis ball in my stomach for about 3 minutes...then everything came back up.   wow...i feel better now... but that sucks that my 10 grams of protein came back up too!   Those bars aren't cheap you know. 

Guess I won't do that again! 

So I had the first kidney stone...it passed...and a week later i had a second one!     Such luck huh???      So it took a week but that one passed as well and now i'm on the mend.   I'm down about 33 lbs now....4 weeks out of surgery....and i'm finally figuring out how my new stomach works.   You know whats odd?  I can eat a lot of lettuce.......   and suddenly I LOVE salads!!      So far nothing has made me really sick......but i'm still struggling with protein.  I also think I may be anemic.  I get dizzy a lot and i'm very pale and tired....    but I can't sleep without some sort of meds to help me fall alseep.  Odd huh?  I don't know... but i'm calling the doc tomorrow to see if i can get some blood work done and figure this out.  I'm tired of being dizzy.   its not a good feeling anymore.

So two days ago I rushed to the ER with severe abdominal pains, chills, and vomiting.   Thought I was going to die a horrible death right there in the ER.    But.....after a quick CT scan they diagnosed me with having a kidney stone.   Wow.....thats just about the most painful thing I have ever felt in all of my life!      
Thank goodness my new stomach was just fine.....and the kidney stone has since passed.....   so I'm back on track again.   But now I'm drinking more water than I was before.  a LOT more water.   

oh..and I'm down to a total of 18 lbs lost...... 

I'm feeling great.....incisions are healing fine....and i'm able to drive and eat whatever i want now.   The only food that hasn't gone down well thus far is turkey.  I tried sliced deli turkey and it just sat in my stomach..i could feel it.... it was horrible feeling.    I only ate like 2 bites....so i know i didn't eat much.  Guess I'll stay away from that for a bit.

Protein and liquids are going fine..... 

I feel great!!!!  and I've lost 11 lbs since my surgery (as of 4 days ago anyway..not sure what it is as of today)

Well, came home at noontime  yesterday...  so far, the worse has been the sore butt from the awful bed...and the yanking of the drain tube out of my side.  

I'm tired.... groggy from pain meds..... and walking a bit tenderly, but other than that i feel good.

tolerating liquids great and excited to move on to full liquids on monday!!!!

Not sure why..but sisters just called to say that my surgery time was now 12:30am.    I don't have to be there until 9:30am.

I'm hungry!!!!!!!

and that milk of magnesia was the worse tasting thing ever!   yucko!!

i'm sure its worth it though....

I'm good to go for Wed!   Yipppeeee

ok, so had my EKG, blood work, and chest x-ray done on Tuesday.  Went just lovely....very quick.  my appt was at 8am, i was out of there by 9:15am.  They asked me every question in the world.....stuck me with a needle...hooked me up to a machine.....then made me dress in a lovely gown that didn't fit so they could take a picture of my chest.   fun fuN!

I have my med clearance appt at 1pm today.....so i'll post when i'm done... hopefully it goes welll!
