Pre-op and Nutritionist Visit

Well I wend to my pre-op and nutritionist visit yesterday 2/11/08 everything went fine. I am still a little nervous I started on my liquid diet today. Five more days and this will be behind me and I can start being a healther ME!!!

I received the call today I am officially APPROVED. I go back to my doctor 2/6/08 then pre-op 2/11/08 and nutritionist visit the same day. I am excited and scared at the same time. What is funny is I have to go out of town for a conference from 2/13 -2/16/08 and I will be on a liquid diet. LOL!!! I don't care I care more about my health and me after this surgery is done.

Just wanted to let everyone know why I do not have a picture of myself on my profile. I honestly do not have any not one. That is really sad, but I have never wanted anyone to take a picture of me because of my weight. I have been so ashamed I did not want anyone looking at me in any pictures. I have promised myself I am going to have my daughter take some before pictures and post them before my surgery.
Surgery Scheduled

Well my surgery is scheduled I wanted to have it sooner it is scheduled for February 18, 2008. I have to many things going on at work and an out of town conference coming up in February. I really like my WLS he is really great to talk to and answered a whole page of questions I had. I can't wait.
Appointment with the Doctor scheduled

Well I finally have my appointment with the doctor for January 16th, 2008. I have been waiting for this day it seems like forever but it really has not been long. Thank goodness I already had everything all my paperwork together and did not have to get anything else. I am excited.
Waiting to get approved and scheduled

I am waiting for approval and scheduling. I have been told it will be just 3-4 days for approval with my insurance I cannot wait. I was a little nervous when I starting looking into this surgery but now I am actually excited. Just waiting for the doctor to let me know when this can happen.
