Tanisha, Congratulations. You wont regret your decision (though you might think twice about it for a few weeks). The weight is going to drop and every day will feel 10 times better than the day before. God Bless You and keep you through the surgery and recovery. And here is something they probably will not tell you (from Rogers book of what you should really know). When you have the LAP procedure done, they inflate you with Nitrogen. Then they cant get it all out. So it settles in your joints (usually the shoulders) and aches like all get out. SO if you have someone there who can rub your shoulders, they will be a lifesaver, otherwise have the nurse get you a hot hot towel. Good luck!!

Thank you all for taking the time to write me I really appreciate all of the support, It feels so much better knowing that I am not in this alone. As you know my surgery date is October 14, and I am very scared but I know I will make it through You will be able to find out more info about me once I get my website up, which will be done by 10/12/02 so check back, Thank you once again. Tanisha Blessing to you and I know you will do fine. These big steps will help you have a better life. Remember please to walk after surgery as much as you can. You will get out of the Hospital faster. Just follow your Dr's orders Jack Stansbury
