"Dr Smith has the Lap Band himself, that was definitely a positive factor in choosing him as my surgeon. He is friendly and comes across as down to earth with a sense of humor. He has a great staff, very helpful with getting me processed and surgery completed, it took appoximately 5 weeks from my initial phone conversation to set up an appt. with Dr Smith, starting preop diet, then scheduled surgery, everything went smoothly. They have a great aftercare program twice a month support meetings, and a third meeting monthly for special guest topics. I feel I have made the best decision in choosing Dr Smith and his staff for my surgery, as I said before, he has the band, many of his staff have the band and so does his wife! "
