"The hospital is beautiful when you first walk in. It is a teaching hospital I think that is good. As far as the cleaning of the rooms it was terrible where I was for 5 days they did not pass a mop or sweep the floors or empty the garbage in the bathroom for 5 days. Needless to say I was glad to get out of there. You would think a hospital would be more clean. I did fill out the survey with the hospital about how NOT clean my room was."
"My first impression of Dr. Bell was a good one. I liked the way he had the smaller group and how you had to have all your information in before you could go to the informational meeting. I am looking forward to the one on one consult before surgery.
His office staff were very nice and helpful about any questions that I had. They didn't seem to make you feel "rushed" to get out of there like a lot of offices do.
Aftercare is very important to Dr. Bell he gave us an handout about the procedure and what foods we would be eating and not eating after the surgery. When we go to our appointments post op we will be getting more information on what we should be eating.
He informed us about all the risks of surgery and answered all the questions that we had regarding those risks.
I give him a "10" and that was just on the first visit with a group. He really makes you feel that he really does care about everyone in the room and their feelings.
I believe he is a very competent surgeon who has had quite a bit of experice here and in another State with very positve results.
Of course, these are my own impressions of Dr. Bell and his staff of course everyone has his or her own opinions."
