Hello Nancy!!! :) -- <b>Congratulations, </b>your special day is almost here! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. This is a new learning experience for all that choose WLS and we draw so much from each other. There can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey. I said a prayer for you today, and know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word, I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures of, a more loving lasting kind, I asked Him to send you blessings at the start of your new day, To grant you love and health, and to guide the surgeon's way, I asked for you to recover fast, and to become thin and small, But it was for His loving care, I prayed for most of all!
