I had my surger 1*25*05 at the time I weighed 286 and was in poor health with high cholesterol, diabetes, and knees that were killing me. I did have major complications after surgery but it was not really the surgery itself , I asperated the day after surgery and developed Pneaumonia, which turned into ARDS, then I got sepsis and many other problems I was on a vent for almost a month..... I did not have much of a chance to make it but I did! I am now below goal weighing 130 and so much healthier my diabetes is GONE, no more high cholesterol, my knees are just fine, I wear a size five or six pants and a med top..... I love my DS I eat what I want and am doing just fine
