Well here it goes, I'm just like any other overweight person that has been researching WLS on this site. I was directed to this site from a friend that had surgery in 2005. I ran into her at Wal-Mart and didn't recognize her at all. After talking to her, I wandered around the store forgetting everything that I was supposed to be getting because I couldn't get her and her transition off my mind! She planted that small seed that continued to grow in my mind that I could possibly be successful at something I had longed for but never thought I would be able to do. I have been overweight all my life, I have done all the diets, pills, programs and starvation but they never were sucessful long term.
