May, God be with you and all of us on the 25th. Lory A and I are also scheduled with Dr.Wongsa on this day. I too waffled with my decision and after a short painful look in the mirror. I wanted to slap myself for even thinking about not going through with WLS. WLS is the weapon (tool) to finally help us conquer the beast(weight).

Lori, I am so proud of you for being so brave even though I know you have your moments of nervous terror. You have been with me through my journey, it's ups and downs, and please know I will be there for you through yours. You are my rock, my inspiration and I love you. I would be honored if you would like me to be your angel. You were a great angel for me and I look forward to returning the favor. I promise to be there for you and help you with anything that you need. Thanks for posting on my profile and thanks for the best wishes. I'm a bit nervous only because I'm trying so hard to lose weight before my surgery and in my mind I feel like I'm failing. I hope that the scale at Dr. Wongsa's office says that I lost at least 1 pound!! Anyway, I'm very excited and not nervous at all. Remember that Carnie went into surgery with a positive mind - so we must do the same. Just have confidence that we will make it to the other side. I'll probably run into you in the hall for one of our walks. Good luck!!

Hi...I'm having surgery the same day you are. Try to relax and enjoy the weather. I'm going out of town to visit my mom this weekend to keep my mind off of things right now. Just think a year from now those 24's and 26's will be 4's and 6's. :-) Tina

It is okay to feel scared and worried prior to surgery...it's normal. I was a 'nervous nellie', however, you have to think positive and you will get through it and be OKay. My prayers are for you to have a safe surgical journey to the otherside and a healthy recovery. I will keep you in my thoughts~~Irene
