"Dr Lewis was wonderful, answering all of my questions and offering me information that I didn't even think to ask. He made me feel valued and a partner in what I'm hoping to have happen. Dr Lewis emphasized many times during his appointment with me that this is the beginning of a very important relationship that continues past the date of surgery. At this time I don't know if he has an actual structured program. But the center I went to for my psychiatric clearance offered follow up care should I be interested. Dr. Lewis also explained to my husband and I how he differs in his aproach to the surgery and how this is not the only part of his practice. He is mainly a cardiovascular surgoin and participates in doing gastric bypass because he feel that it is rewarding. Dr Lewis's staff was very polite and warm making me feel welcome. My only complaint would be that it has been difficult a few times when I have called later in the day to speak with someone regarding surgical questions. I asked about that concern and was given the tip to call earlier in the day and also an apology was quickly offered."
