Anoush Hadaegh

"Very congenial man, knows his work and didn't make 'pie in the sky' promises. Did a fairly good job. After all- he only had so much to work with! LOL I have had some pain management issues that were a little unexpected but he is working with me on this. I think his surgical work was excellent but I didn't feel prepared for the heck of post op life. I didn't feel like myself for WEEKS! I am now 5 weeks out and just now getting to about 80% of my pre-op baseline activity level and exercise? fuggedaboutit! After the pain recedes I will be looking at a second wave of plastics but I am not really looking forward to it. Dr. Hadaegh is a gem but this is a rough process."

Christopher Keroach

"Chris Keroack was wonderful but I left the practice after being sent to his Nurse practicitoner. She is clearly dissatisfied with finding herself working with the obese. Her knowledge level is unimpressive and she doesn't know why we all just don't have 'some discipline'. She is just too unpleasant to deal with- I left the practice and I am letting my surgeon manage me. Shame too- Keroack is great. "

Viratio Fiallo

"Quite impressed with the man. He sat down with me one on one for almost a full hour and discussed WLS. I had a great deal of knowledge going into the meeting because I had been in the intake of another program for almost a year. He answered all my questions. I have an insurance that can sometimes be challenging to work with- Aetna. He and his staff were more than willing to work with me as a team to make sure I was approved. He reviewed the Aetna service bulletin right there with his nurse and really seems willing to advocate for me so that I can obtain this surgury. (When they submitted I was approved in under a week!) Dr. Fiallo is a very experienced LAP surgeon and has an excellent reputation in the medical community. Excellent surgical experience. I had a minor complication 6 days post op from the gallbladder removal- not the WLS itself- and he met me at 1 AM in the ER and made sure I was squared away. (It was OK- I was home in 12 hours) His demeanor is no different at 1 AM on a holiday than at 3 on a weekday afternoon. He was concerned and professional. I have had 7 friends that have also gone with Fiallo and we have all had excellent, safe experiences. I think he is your best choice in the Springfield area by far. I am almost 9 months post op and down 95 pounds and feel wonderful!"

Mercy Medical Center

"Overall the RNs on the 5th floor are wonderful. I only had one bad experience and the supervisors and risk manager I reported it to were professional and very receptive to what I had to say. Overall the staff was excellent- just one bad apple and I think she is going to get picked if she doesn't come up to hospital standards. Mercy is a pretty good hospital and is trying to put together a top notch bariatric program. You don't need to go to Baystate for these services. Give Mercy a chance."

Judy Dowd

"Very compassionate, caring. Works primarily with WLS clients."
