support group

So I went to my first support group last night and it was not what I expected! For some reason I half expected it to be like an AA meeting and we would all sit around and talk about how we got to be this way (fat). But it wasn't it was great! Everyone I met was very supportive and gave me so much confidence. Most of the people there were scheduled for surgery around the same time as I am. There were some amazing stories like some I have seen here on OH, Just reading some of the profiles here are inspiring, but seeing it face to face is just incredible. It's getting real and I'm getting anxious!!!
