Well I received another fill on March 3, 2010. I'm not up to 4.5cc's in my band. The weight loss has been very slow for me but I will continue to stay on the right path.

I went in for my second fill on Feb 1, 2010. I was told I gained weight. It didn't surprise me at all since I felt I was able to eat to much food at a sitting. The Dr gave me .5ccs in my band. I wish it was more but oh well. I can only keep trying my best.

Yeah I had my first fill today. 3cc  Let's see how this goes. I have to do liquids for 5 days Hopefully I will have good restriction with this fill. I go back to the Dr's in 4 wks. Wish me luck.

Well I survived my first Thanksgiving with my band. Boy what a difference. I still have some restriction from my surgery. Since my weight loss has slowed I'm really looking forward to my first fill in January.  Until then I will do my part.

I went to Kaiser today for an appt. All is well. Here"s the news.

Ok my surgery is over. I'm back home and back on my feet. Thank God!!!!!
I'm doing well with my liquids so far. Can't wait until I go to my first follow-up appt so I can chart my progress.

Well I finally had my one on one with Dr Lee. Boy did it take forever to get here. She was great. She answered ever question that I had and some I didn't think to ask. She left me with one big decision. I have to chose between the Lap band or Gastric Bypass. My Dr feel I would do great with either one. I don't know what to do. I have wanted the lap band since I first heard about many years ago. Plus with my BMI I feel it's the best surgery for me. She told me to take the weekend to think about it. I'm 95% sure I will have the lap band. I guess the Dr wanted me to be sure of the commitment the lap band needs. I know the band is a tool and has to be use as such. I'm aware of all the complications that might arise with the band. All I can do is go into the surgery fully informed which I am and wish for the best. I was told that my surgery may be scheduled between one to two months. Their are a few more things the Dr requires before surgery. So the saga continues.
