"When seeking information on WLS, I chose Dr. Proctor's over-all set up. First of all he has been practicing WLS for over twenty years and he had in place all the after surgery support anyone would need to be a continued success. I knew that I would need as much support and encouragement I could get. Many other doctors in that Atlanta area are beginning to imulate his set-up of having trained staff, psychiatrist, nutritionalist, sleep-disorder specialist, already on his staff. Aftercare is greatly stressed. In fact we are tested on what we've learned during the work shop and the booklet he gives to us about the surgery itself and what we can expect before making that last commitment to have surgery. I rate both DRs Proctor and Richardson very highly. Bedside manner was friendly and genuinely concerned about all their patients. There is a structured after care in form of support group meetings every Thursday and also General info meetings once a month. My over all experience has been very pleasant."
