hello everyone! i hope all is well. Well this Monday made it one week that i had my surgery. YAY!!! the day of my surgery i was very nervous and having second thoughts, but after i got out of surgery i was really pumped about everything. I was released from the hospital one hour after surgery, which i was really surprised. when i got home i felt OK until the gas in my belly started moving around, i had to walk around for about an hour for it to go away. i was only on pain medication for the first night after that i haven't needed it, thank the lord. Christmas was very nice my boyfriend gave me the Wii and the Wii fit, which i wanted. it was really hard going to my mom's house since everyone was eating yummy yummy food and all i could have was liquids! i went to the doctor on Monday i have lost 26lbs in two weeks, that was exciting, WOO HOO! I'm doing well. Now I'm on stage two which consist of soft foods. i was so happy to have an egg. I've been working out at least 30 minutes a day, and now i can wait till i can eat chicken again.  When i lose 50lbs my boyfriend is taking me to Jamaica, woo hoo!! i'm going to really be working hard.

OMG! I cant believe that soon I will start a whole new life! I'm having my surgery Monday (12/21/2009), i have to check in to the hospital at 5:30AM. I am so full of many different emotions. I have been on my liquid diet since Monday (12-14-09) and i have lost 16LBS, is this normal? It only gets tough for me when I am at work or like today shopping. I am so sad that I allowed BAD food to rule my life, and now because it has been in my life for so long I am having a hard time parting with it. Well Monday I start my new healthy and happy life, and dispite all these crazy emotions I feel I am so EXCITED.

Well today is my 2ND day on liquids and last night didn't go so great, I threw up everything I drank. Is this normal? I felt really yucky. I haven't felt so bad today but i cant seem to like anything I eat. For breakfast i had diet V8 Splash and for lunch I had some soup that really upset my stomach. Now for diner I am not hungry at all. Did anybody else feel like this????????????????????????????????????????

Well Last night i had to drive about 50 miles to get to the place where I was going to do my sleep study. First of all it was a small town that had no lights so it was really dark and scary. I Finally get there and the phone number I was supposed to call to let the tech know I was there didn't work. After calling around for about 20 mins I finally got a hold of someone who notified the tech that i was there. I got in the tech hooked me all up with all of these crazy wires that your supposed to sleep with, which I would like to know why they don't come up with a more comfortable way to do this test. I layed there for 4 hours not being able to fall asleep! The tech finally told me that she had to terminate the test. So she unhooked everything and there I was driving back home at 1AM, keep in mind it was really dark and I had a long drive.

Well as of tomorrow I have to be on all liquids for one whole week before my surgery. I am full of mixed emotions because of this. I want to eat everything I can tonight but i know that is not a good thing to do. My boyfriend and I are just having a nice steak diner with king crab legs as my "last meal." Does anyone have any suggestions on what will be good to have while I'm on my liquid diet? Please anything helps.
