The journey begins...

I guess the journey began back in March at my informational meeting and after months of tests and weigh-ins, it has finally come to the beginning of the real journey and my divorce from food.....lol. I began my pre-op, 9 day liquid fast and all I can think of is food.....more than before anyways. I know if I can get past the 2nd day, then I will be fine....so I intend to keep myself busy....as much as possible....I guess we will see....well, wait......no we won't.....we will DO IT!!! Wish me luck cuz this is just the beginning.....

Let's see......so much has happened.....ups and downs with the weight......the reality of now having a surgery date of November 30th......CRAZYYYYYY!!!!!! That's all I can say!

Appointment 3 today...

Had my third appointment today and things are going great......down 4.5 pounds!!! That's 10 total pounds lost on my own and as long as things keep going well, surgery in 3 months!!! 
My appointment consisted of meeting with the nutritionist, very scary, hope I can do this......very intimidating seeing what is expected of me on paper! Also, met with one of the doctors and went over my lab work and any questions I have. Decent appointment and will return in one month for another meeting with a provider and weigh in!
