I am a 42 yr old married mother of 2. My girls keep me going! My oldest is 19 and the baby being 9. I have battled with being over weight most all of my life. But thing really got serious for me when my best friend died suddenly within 2 hours after speaking her of a massive heart attack in July of 2015. She left behind a 6 month old baby boy and a 7 yr old little girl. Her weight was out of controll and her health was failing without our knowledge. At a pcp visit 1.5 yrs ago my lab work didn't look so good. My A1C was at 6.0 and I was at my hightest weight ever. In February of this yr I was admitted to the hospital for chest pains and underwent a series of test. They all came back negitive, but I must say that this was the ultimate eye opener! The thought of leaving my kids behind was devastating! It was time to take action...so here I am today! Ready to fight!
