Is it time to loss more weight?

So I have pased up my two year mark and have maintained my weight between 178-181 for about a year now.

I am still at a overwieght BMI. Ugh! I would like to get it down to 24 with give me lossing another 21 pounds.

So what am I going to do about getting there. 

Train and excersie daily.  I am doing my Wii Fit for at least 30 mins a day and I would like to jog at least 2 miles three times per. week minumim. 

My home scale broke..my Wii have me weighing 179.5 today.  So lets see where I get with this.

I love surgar and that is were  I struggle. I can eat candy all day and not dumb. Bah! I should of never tried it.  Can turn back now.



Here I am on Vacation in Washington DC. June 16 2009. 180lbs. Size 12 jeans.

I would like to be a size 8.

Oh and my cholesterol is still high, grrrrr. Getting this down would be great. 

I need to food journal to hold my self accountable. Maybe I'll buy a pocket pad this weekend.

Home scale weight 173.0 (use this weight in real life)

YWCA weight 171.8

Measurements
Bust/chest: 38
Waist: 31
Hips: 44.5

BMI: 27
Body fat percentage 22%

I fasted for 2 days to focus myself on what I need to be eating and what God wants for me in my eating and health. What does my body mean to me?
Am I healthy?
Am I letting my eating and body over take my world?
What can I do to be more Chist like?
What would Jesus do if he were in my shoes, bateling body image and weight??

I need to slowly add back in the foods I should be eating and stay away from those I should not be eating.

I need to eat for nutrition and eat well but not just because it taste good.

Being healthy is my goal. Being able to maintain my weight is GOAL!
It is not what is on the outside but what is on the inside and being healthy and having good nutrition.

Eating well and being good to my body, by what I eat is my goal for the next two months. We will see where I am in two months.  I can not make a goal of exercise right now because I am so busy with school and work and family and church. Just go for walks when I can and do the ab lounger.

I need to be getting a healthy about of sleep to and take care of myself. Devote more time for prayers and spiritule building reading.

DISCOURAGED!

I want to give up. I have one bad moment in my day and I keep it up the rest of the day. I eat one jelly bean so I continue on telling myself I've already ruined it for the day.

I CAN NOT RUIN IT FOR MYSELF!! It is my choice and it is bad choices that got me FAT.

I am still at 177-180lbs Depending on the day. I haven't been to the gym in a week. 

I need to get it together.

I have lots all motivation.

I feel like a failer.

I want to loss more weight.

I can't say no to carbs. COOKIES PLEASE!

The only things that I like to eat a sweets, cookies, ice cream ect. ect.

I feel fat.

Im afraid of failure and gaining my weight back.

I need to get focused and stop sabitaging myself.

I am so busy with life.

School!!!! Work!!!! Church!!!!

I need to take time to journal and right down everything I eat. BAUGH!!!

Weekly weigh in! Friday

 I was hoping the scale would be nicer to me this Am. After I worked really hard this week. Ate and drank like am suppose to and worked out twice a day. Now my body has to get caught up I am sure. 

I also have not and a BM all week so when that happens I sure to loss a pound. I took some Colace this morning to get the colon movin'.

1/10/09 Weight in at the YWCA 181.9
1/16/09 Weight in at the YWCA 179.4

Next weeks weight in goal, 175lbs

What a day of eating should look like!

Here is what an average day of eating looks like for me.

6am 12 oz water

6:15-7am 16oz Crystal Light while exercising

7:30 Breakfast: Egg cup cake! I'll share recipes below. 10 grams protein

9am 16oz Crystal Light

10:30 3 Protein Balls (see recipe) 7 grams protein

11:30 16oz Crystal Light

12:30pm Lunch (various heres one thing I like to have) 20 grams protein
.5 cup oat meal
.5 cup cottage cheese 
10 almonds
dash of cinnamon
ind. pack splinda
All mix together! I am told it looks like throw up but It's good!

2pm 16oz Crystal Light

3:30 3 protein balls 7 grams protein

5:15-6pm 16oz water while exercising

7pm Dinner (various heres one thing I've had recently) 20 grams protein
Taco Less Taco
3oz ground lean hamburger cooked with onion on taco seasoning
2Tbls Shredded 2% Cheddar Cheese
little lettuce
little tomato
1Tbls sour cream
1Tbls salsa

9pm 16oz Propel Dinner holds me over tell the AM since we don't normally eat tell 7/7:30pm

Recipes:

Egg cup Cake:


Preheat oven to 400

Scramble 9 eggs, add 1 cup water, 1/3 cup powdered milk(for added protein, you could use unflavored protein powder) set aside

Cook: Sausage, Bacon, onion, Whatever you like

Add to eggs, add cup of cheese if you like and salt and pepper to taste. Pour in lined muffin pan.
Bake for about 12mins

Another alternative to this would be to cook up you mix ins add them to muffin tin then crack one egg over each tin.

PB Protein Balls:

1 cup Peanut Butter
1/3 cup powder milk
2 scoops protein powder ( I use Walmart whey vanilla, you can use whatever you like)
3/4 cup oats

Roll in balls. Little Smaller then golf balls Freeze, Eat frozen or thawed.

You can add crushed nuts if you like too.

WLS Friendly Pizza:

Preheat Oven to 375

1 low Carb Tortilla

Put on Tortilla
1/4 cup spaghetti sauce 
1/4 cup 2 % mozzarella cheese 
cooked sausage, hamburger, ground turkey (whatever you like)
4 Turkey pepperoni

Bake on stone for 6Min's or until done to your liking

Writing to keep my resolutions for 2009

Good health, rather than weight, should be our focus; too often, it’s not. Striving for an unhealthy level of thinness may be detrimental to our health, but understanding the health repercussions of obesity is also critical. 
This is not a diet; this is your life. 
The diet industry would have us all think that we can lose weight fast, and that’s that. But most people who maintain their weight understand that eating and exercising are not temporary conditions, to be dumped once a pair of jeans fit. Instead, they are lifestyle choices, and ones to be made for the long haul. 

Goals for 2009 Rethink them half way through January make sure you are still motivated!!

Weight Loss Goals       Today 177.2 lbs.

By Jan. 31st        169        Pedicure 

By Feb. 31st        155        Teeth Whiting 

By Mar. 31st        150        Buy a new pair of jeans

By Arp. 31st         145        Bridesmaid dress

June 18th 2009   Two Year Anniversary Goal  143lbs!!!

Maintain through 6 remaining months of 2009 June Thur December

Other goals:

Exercise 1hr 5 days a week. 30mins the other two days.

3mins of Ab work every day!

Drink 65oz of water a day

Eat 65 grams protein a day

Fit into a size 10 jeans

Blog on obesityhelp.com regularly!

Post on WLS Divas regularly!!

Begin trying to get pregnant Jan 2010 after 6 months of maintained weight at goal of 143-145lbs

New Year, New Me!!

 Well today is another new day.  I have joined Get Fit Topeka Challenge. I want to loss 30lbs in 7 wks. The $500 I could win is a great motivator. Along with the fact that I have my best friends wedding in July. A size 10 dress would be nice.

 I am not happy with maintaing at this weight. Yeah it's great. It's succes but I know I can loss more. I want to loss another 25lbs by next June.
