EverAfter
I had my RNY Gastric Bypass on July 29, 2003. I went into surgery at 297 pounds, although my top weight was closer to 310. Thankfully, I am a tall girl, however, I wore a size 26/28, and was very unhappy. My weight loss occured fairly rapidly. I had lost about 90 pounds in 10 months. Not too shabby! I got down to 190 pounds, before having an extended abdominoplasty, vertical resection, breast lift and liposuction in January 2006.
I have since regained 18 pounds and hover around 208 pounds. This is a major trial for me and is something that I harp on daily. But, alas, I am all talk and no action. I refuse to eat right or exercise. I am a dynamic motivator for others, but for some reason am stuck on stupid when it comes to my own health. I am going to turn over a new leaf soon and reach my goal weight once and for all... 175 lovely pounds. I plan to accomplish this goal by my 31st birthday (August 2008).
I'll keep you updated on my progress.
Current Weight - 207.5lbs
December 13 - 20 Minutes of Core Pilates and Ab Pilates
December 14 - 10 Minutes of Hips Pilates and 3 Mile Power Walk
December 15 - 10 Minutes of Core Pilates and 2 Mile Power Walk w/ 3lb weights
December 16 - 30 Minutes of Core/Abs/Butt Pilates and 1.5 mile Power Walk w/3lb weights
December 17 - 10 Minutes of Core Pilates and .5 Mile Power Walk w/3lb weights (I was a slacker today)
December 18
Well... looks like I completely fell off the wagon on December 17th... Considering it is now August 15th... I guess it is time for me to get back on again, lol. Monday was my 31st birthday, so I obviously didn't meet my goal of losing 38 pounds by now... I am disappointed in myself... but I am not one to dwell on my failures or live my life looking backward at things I cannot change. SOOO.... I will begin AGAIN hopefully on Monday, Aug. 18th. I am moving this weekend back to Florida, so I am not even going to pretend I will be eating right. So we will see what happens... the adventure continues!
UPDATE***
December 28, 2012 - I was just reading back over 'my story' and it is shameful when I read about how I had planned to meet my weight loss goal by my 31st birthday. I am now 35 years old and STILL 208lbs, lol. The good thing is that I haven't GAINED any weight in the last 4 years... the bad news is that I haven't lost any either.
