Neal Gorrin
"I met with Dr. Gorrin Today (12/02/03). My first impression was, he was young, thorough, and had excellent bedside manner. He was also quick to recognize my "Jerry Bear" tattoo, and it was at that time that i felt most comfortable with him. He can't be all that bad if he's a fellow Deadhead, lol. His office staff was on the ball and had everything ready and waiting for me to sign. We talked at great length about my concerns for the surgery, when he spoke he had good eye contact with my husband and myself. He was more then happy to share information he had about mortality rates and certain cases. He answered questions openly and directly. He emphasized a bit on aftercare, but only because Kaiser offers an extensive aftercare program for it's bariatric patients. Aftercare is important and I know this. My overall rating thus far is excellent! Surgical competence and bedside manner are both equally important factors. Dr. Gorrin has been doing gastric bypass for 4 yrs. "
