Fred, Yea! Hang in there. It might be a good time to just do some deep breathing, listening to music, and TRY to relax. My surgery is scheduled for the 28th and I feel the tension and nervousness mounting. So I am sure I will have to remind myself later to relax. Good Luck

Fred, You and I share the same surgery date! I wish you all the best and will keep you in my heart and prayers. PS: I too gained weight (16 pounds since the initial consult) but hey, I am glad you enjoyed your vacation and gave yourself permission to eat your favorite foods. You know, alot of it is nerves too....we aren't the ONLY ones who gain weight before surgery lol. I can't wait to hear how you are doing after your surgery! Best wishes, Dana

Fred, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I hope everything goes great and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. Hang in there, because it will be so worth it! A WLS friend,

Hello there Fred Greeting from Wonderful Wyoming!!! I am here to say that this surgery is the best thing I ever did for me. I was so nervous and shaky that I thought my day would never get here, but it did and now I am 2months and half post op.Have lost forever sixty pounds and am doing great.I know you will come through this surgery with flying colors!!!! Remember to do exactly what your doctor tells you to do and everything will turn out great for you!!! You will be in my prayers go for it!!!

Fred...good luck! I am excited for you and I feel that you will come out A OK! Be more afraid of staying the size you are than the surgery. You will be ok. I am going for my consultation NOv 14th and will soon be having surgery myself. God is with you in every way.In every way.
