I just turned thirty at the beginning of this year. Instead of putting the usual "lose weight" under my New Year's resolution... I decided to take charge of my life. I WANT TO END MY FIGHT WITH OBESITY!!! Don't we all?
I am very close to my family. I have to beautiful daughters, exactly 9 years apart. In a few years I have a babysitter! lol I also have my boyfriend and two step sons. We are the modern day Brady Bunch! A household full of Dominican, German, Puerto Rican, African American and Mexican. Good lord. With all that, you can imagine the extensive food recipes we have and how much we love food. That's one of my dilemnas.
Like most people, getting bariatric surgery is very important to me. This will hopefully give me the chance to better myself physically and emotionally. I want to be able to enjoy my life along with my kids and my boyfriend. I would like to know that I will grow old and hopefully know my great grandkids. I don't want to be in pain because of obesity.
It's time for a change!!!
