Well it really has been forever since I last updated. I am now 8 years post op and loving life!!  I am maintaining my weight at 145lbs. It is still a struggle evey day. I started gaining again and was back up to 180lbs and decided that I worked too hard to lose it to gain again.  I am now divorced from my husband of 20 yrs. He decided he wanted a newer younger version. Oh well. I am happily dating my 6th grade sweetheart. I am sooo in love!! Life is great. My daughter is in college and doing well. Lucky for her she inherited her dads genes and is tall and skinny. I worry every day about her though that she will never have to go through what I did. I am still working as a Paramedic and love it. I am also on my local vol. fire department. I am a member of our Sheriffs Office SWAT team as a tactical medic. I have to run and work out with the guys. It is GREAT!! I am the only female on there and really have to work extra hard to prove myself. The guys are great though. Alot of them have known me for years so they know the me BEFORE the surgery.  I will try and get some pics on here if I can figure it all out. Too all of you pre ops....it is a tough road....but one that is well worth it. I would do it all over again if I had too. Take care all and it is time to go live life. Love to all.
