I am heading rapidly toward the BIG 50 and have been a plus sized lady most all of my adult life. I was a healthy size 12 when I got married but after baby # 1 broke 200 lbs and have rarely fell below that mark since then. I did manage to lose weight with the latest diet fad however, I quickly would put it back on plus more. I finally broke the 300 lb mark in the past 90 days and my insurance finally approved my surgery after a six month wait so it was not a moment too soon. I have three beautiful children and two granchildren and I cannot wait to be able to get down on the floor and play with them and not struggle to breath or get back up. I also work with teenagers and look forward to being better able to keep up in volleball, iceskating, bowling, and any other fun times they muster up.
My surgey took place on April 11, 2011 at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
