Um where do I begin...? I am severely overweight and have been for many years. Despite the control food has had over me most of my life, I consider myself a positive, caring, nature/animal loving, and good hearted person. I'm in college, working toward a career in environmentalism. I always had a great passion for helping the environment, but I feel that my weight holds me back. I can’t work in this field if every 20 steps I take uphill, I have to stop to catch my breath. I smoked for 13 years and thanks to the patch I quit. I told myself that I couldn't be this overweight and smoke, I wont see my kids graduate. So I did it, I quit. That's why I know if I had some help like with the smoking patch for my weight, I know I could keep the weight down to a healthy me.. for good. I have been losing and gaining weight for years and I'm tired. So I am ready for this change, I am ready for my new life to begin. This website is a blessing.
