9 Weeks Post-OP and Proud
Dec 25, 2008
I have lost 49 pounds and I feel pretty good. My clothes are loose but I am not ready to shop yet the weight loss is steady at 2 to 3 lbs a week. I walk for exercise but I believe I am going to have to do more to increase my weight loss.
I have regained all normal activity ad find I have more energy. I am so glad I made the decision to have WLS.
I went, and now I'm back

Steaming right along....
Oct 16, 2008

I am looking forward to next week when I go see the Hospital and take a tour and meet the anesthesiologist. I woke up when I was getting my tubes tied in 2002. I really don't want to repeat that.
I am getting anxious for my wls I know its right around the corner but now I am paranoid that I will catch a cold between now and then. Is that normal? I think I'll go get some chewable vitamin C? Does anyone know how to prevent a cold? (Don't tell me to feed it, I don't live that way anymore). My throat feels itchy I'm getting nervous.
Surgery set for 10/28/08
Oct 13, 2008
My surgery date is 10/28/08
and I am so excited. I really need to time to speed up it seems to be dragging. I still have my Pre-op stuff to do I did it before in August but found out that was much to early. So I will complete my lab work and EKG on 10/16/08. I get to visit the hospital and the anesthesiologist on the 10/22/08 so I am excited about that as well.
My family is very supportive and are looking forward to my surgery date. I must admit I have not been in the best of moods mostly due to my 1200 calorie diet that is driving me insane. I have never experienced hunger pain before. But every day gets a little easier. I have lost 10 pounds since the week I have been on the 1200 calorie diet, but I have no energy and I am in a rotten mood.
I have an overwhelming urge to throw away all of my summer clothing because I truly believe I won't ever have to wear my big fat tent short sets anymore. I think I will.
