My story... I have really been putting this off. I started off as a normal size kid. I never felt that way though. It always seemed that the other girls were smaller then me, and maybe they were, but I was not really *that* overweight. You know how it goes, some traumatic childhood event, you turn to food without even knowing it. For me it was my parents nasty divorce, and moving back and forth between both of my parents because I felt bad for the other one no matter who I was with. Trust me when I tell you this was really only the beginning of my problems snowballing out of control, but I will spare everyone the gory details of my teenage years.
Over the years I have developed, type 2 Diabetes, Hypothyroid, and way to many aches and pains to even start listing. My knees and ankles swell almost daily, depending on what I have been doing thru-out the day. My Pulmonary Doctor says I have narcolepsy. I think I am just fat and tired. I guess we will see when I loose weight.
Fast forwarding to more current times, I am the proud mother to four boys, ages 17, almost 15, 13 and 2. My husband also has 2 girls and a boy, so I have 3 *bonus kids*. (We share the 2 year old) Between the 2 of us we have 7 kids. I am happier now then I have ever been. The only thing left is to get healthy and enjoy day to day life more.
